In the spirit of keeping Barack Obama supporters inspired and reaching out to the supporters of other candidates, we offer “Ready to Believe.” The song makes the case for Obama’s candidacy in an unconventional way by taking on the issues of experience and having to wait his turn in line as they’ve been used against him in the campaign.

Here’s how the song “Ready to Believe” came about.  The week before the California primary, the three of us sat down for coffee to catch up.  Jackie and Bryce were a couple of striking screenwriters with some time on their hands and Cherish is composer-singer who was wondering how her music could be used to change lives.  Bryce and Cherish had worked with on the TV series, “The Crow: Stairway to Heaven” back in the late 90s. The question was asked, “Who are you voting for?”  Before the coffee was cold, we all decided, improbably, to write, produce and distribute this song.

Even when Barack Obama wins the Democratic nomination, it’s clear that John McCain will be making the same arguments against him that Hillary Clinton has tried to make and the song will still be relevant.  We think this song can continue to rock until Election Day.
